Yet another child leaves home

It used to be that we added a new member to our family every 2 or 3 years, now they seem to leave every 2 or 3 years. So here we are sending another daughter out into the cold cruel world. Jane moved out on August 22, she's now living in Orem with her friend Jenna and attending UVU. Yes, little Janey has grown up and is on her own, making her way into adulthood. Wow, our house is getting empty, and even though seniors aren't around much they can still leave a big empty place in your home when they leave.

Pond beginnings...

Here's the overall water feature, I've outlined it in yellow so you can see it better. Up here at the top the water will come out of a large pot or something, I haven't decided. Then it will run down the stream .and end up in the pond, where goldfish will be entertaining the kids (and cats).

I didn't hear from that Cassie, but this guy was begging for his photo to be taken.

He was out hanging around in my maple tree. I think he is about 3 inches long. Does anybody know what kind of a dragonfly he is?

Holly finally got her braces off!!!!

I think she's been influenced by the book she's reading, Breaking Dawn from the Twilight series.

New Patio

Okay, picture a water feature in the middle there and a fire pit in the hole on the right, surrounded by Douglas firs and aspens. Oh and some day a pergola on the right close to the back porch.
