Shuppy Shenanigans

Hello Friends,
I've been enjoying Amy and Patrice's blogs so much that I thought it would be fun to start my own. Here's a quick rundown on the family:

Jon works at Morris Murdock Travel which he really enjoys. We have done more traveling in the 5 years he's been there than we ever did in the previous years. Jon is also on the stake high counsel, which is a real challenge to him. (He absolutely hates speaking). He also has a passion for computers. He has a web site called the Falcon Registry which will hopefully help with his other passion; restoring his 1963 Ford Falcon.

Sue : I am currently finishing up my associate degree in Illustration which I plan to graduate from in the spring. I made original dolls for many years, but the doll industry has flattened out so I thought I would go back to my old artistic roots and try 2 dimensional art again. I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of school. My next step is to update my old website to include my art work and hopefully find a clientèle.

Patrice: Check out her blog spot, but we are very excited to announce that she and Allen are expecting a baby in June! They live in Las Vegas.

Amy: Check out her blog spot, but Amy and Zach have two darling children named Tyger and Tatum. They are currently graduated and living in Vegas.

Cassie Jo is filling out mission papers and starting a new semester at SLCC. She works at an architecture firm and has two room mates. We miss Tyler, Cassie's husband, but we know that the Lord has taken him for a grand purpose. Cassie is an amazingly strong person and we love and admire her.

Jane is a senior and making college plans. She is a great artist and I hope that she will incorporate her talents into her school plans. Jane also plays guitar and is very accomplished.

Holly is in the 9th grade. She has just completed the dreaded drivers ed so watch out! Holly is also a cheerleader.

Addison is in the 5th grade but he gets to go to the 6th grade for math. He loves science and is currently planning on becoming a doctor. He just turned 11.

Don't worry, Patrice and have definitely noticed all of the trips you've taken in the last 5 years... AFTER we moved out of course ;) I'm sooooo glad you started a blog! Yay!!! I know you will love blogging and get addicted like I am, although I might be more addicted because playing with the blog is one of my only creative outlets right now.

Alright! I'm glad that you started a blog so we can stay caught up with all of your adventures. I hope that you can check your comments frequently...it seems like there is never a computer on at your house.

Can mom do a little photoshop magic so I don't look pregnant in that picture with Holly?

YAY! It's Patrice, I haven't been able to comment because I didn't know how to do the google log in but now I can tell you how excited I am that you have a blog! This is great! I can't wait to see all the pictures and hear all the news.

I think your family is great and I love having Patrice in ours. Cassie is so strong, I still get teared up when I see those pictures but she has always been such a valiant servant of the Lord that this is just one of her tasks in life. AS for the younger three I cannot believe how grown-up they are! I loved when you took Holly and Jane's cell phones away in church, it just mad me realize what I have to look forward to in about 8 years!!!
